A Fix from the Fez - Popeye's DikPopeye's Dik full-length album out now!
12/03 Sharks members Alan Wilson and Steve Whitehouse can be found playing on the new Popeye's Dik CD 'a Fix From The Fez' out on Crazy Love records now. The album consists of 12 tracks- most of which have been co-written by the Sharks in one way or another. The album was also recorded and produced by Wilson at Western Star studio.

The Best of The SharksBest Of Sharks CD!
9/03 Anagram have released a 25 track 'Best Of' Sharks CD. This CD contains two previously unreleased bonus tracks. This CD is available from your normal Rockabilly retailer/record shop/record stall or Rockabilly mail order company or direct from Anagram records (see Sharks link's page).

Trotsky on Drums!
7/03 The Sharks have recruited Trotsky - legendary drummer of the Sub Humans and Citizen Fish - to play on their new album.

Air Conditioned!
7/03 Following a spell of hot sticky weather, Western Star studio has had aircondintioning fitted!

New Sharks Albums at last!
6/03 The Sharks have at last started work on some new recordings. The resulting material will be split into two albums. The first - destined for the Western Star label - is to be an instrumental Mini-album titled 'Sharky Malarkey'. The second will be a full studio album titled 'Apex Predator' . These will be the first proper studio recordings since 'Colour My Flesh' in 1996. Recording is expected to take until next year due to everyone's already heavy workload.

The Mostly Losers
3/03 Alan Wilson and Bill Fadden have teamed up to co-write an album under the name The Mostly Losers. Between them they have assembled quite an interesting line up and the first recording session (March 2003) spawned 6 tracks, with more sessions booked throughout this year. The Mostly Losers have a strong Mexican flavour, but also combine the very best elements of 60's Country and 50's Rockabilly. An album is expected to surface on the Western Star record label as well as possibly a vinyl EP on Black Jack records.

3/03 The Best of Western Star Vol 2 is out now on Crazy Love records and features; Frenzy, The Frantic Flintstones, Howlin' Wilson, Bill Fadden, Death Valley Surfers etc.

01/03 This April Alan Wilson is to launch his new label
'The Western Star Recording Company'

First band to be signed up were Kill Van Helsing.
Their fantastic new debut album 'Alien Hot Rod' will be
available from all good distributors in April.
